I haven't been posting much as I'm running out of new photos to share, so I've decided to re-share some old photos and do a bit of reflection. This photo was taken November 2018 in Bali. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It was a big turning point in my life, it was when I decided to⠀⠀

1. Take total responsibility for the outcomes of my life and stop letting fear hold me back⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2. Stop letting the fear of what others think, what I think others think and what they probably don't really spend much time thinking because they have their own lives to think about

3. Start making a conscious effort to live in the 'now' not in the 'when'⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. To never compromise on my integrity no matter how tough life gets⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

5. To trust my gut and stop listening to all the advice, the no`s and the 'it can't be done that way' ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The key thing about this photo and this period in my life is that although it was exciting and outwardly 'inspiring' it wasn't plain sailing. ⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In fact, I was in the middle of a pretty tough time when this photo was taken

1. I was the broke  I've been financially, with around £17k of personal loans I'd taken out to enable me to grow my first two businesses⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2. I was homesick and lonely in Bali, a lot of my friends had left and I was seeing my home friends build new lives without me in them⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3. I had built a business I didn't really feel connected to, I didn't have a clear vision and was confused on the value I was offering⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. I was recovering from shoulder surgery after breaking my shoulder pretty badly whilst drunk in Bali⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

5. I was 3 months into sober life, having acknowledged I'd developed a drinking problem⠀

6. A member of my immediate family was going through chemotherapy⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

7. I was in the final stage of healing from PTSD having been raped 2.5 years prior⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

8. I wanted to be with a guy who didn't want to be with me

Why am I telling you this?

Because in the darkest of times is when we can rise. The energy I am experiencing and the conversations I've been having since Corona have completely set my heart on fire. So what did I have during this time? Passion, focus and belief. I knew it was on me, and I knew that I could do it. This mirrors the creativity, the positivity, and the passion I am seeing from pretty much every conversation I'm having at the moment. People who are deciding that they want more, that they want to be brave, that they want to help, that they want to lead. These people aren't all Entrepreneurs, they are Mums, they are Employees, they are Accountants, Teachers, Actors, NHS workers, Investment bankers, Financial Advisors, Coaches, Consultants, Website Designers, Techy 'introverts'. People from ALL over the world, in EVERY niche are stepping up and are ready to lead. We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone and the passion and the strength of conviction in the messages and stories which people are unearthing is staggering. I am so inspired by all of you. You make me SO excited that I can't sleep and I wake up in the morning and wake my brother up just to talk about it (poor Ross Power, it's quite an overwhelming way to wake up, with your sister sat next to, exploding conversation at you).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀

My message to you is that you can do it. That it is possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You are powerful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your story is powerful. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now you've got the bug, it's not going to go away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your first step is to believe in yourself, because I believe in you ❤️
